How to Use Your NH35 Automatic Watch

South River Watch company watches are equipped with the Nh 35 automatic movement. They have no battery and will self wind when worn regularly. When your NH35 watch is not worn for an extended period, it will lose power and will need to be wound,
1. Winding the Watch:
Gently unscrew the crown until you feel a slight release. This is position one . To wind it, unscrew the crown to position one and gently rotate the crown (usually located on the right side of the watch) clockwise about 30-40 times. This will help energize the movement.
2. Setting the Time:
Pull the crown out gently to the second position. This will stop the second hand, allowing you to set the correct time without losing accuracy.
Turn the crown to set the hour and minute hands. Make sure to adjust for AM or PM to ensure the correct time of day.
3. Setting the Date (if applicable):
To set the date, pull the crown to the first position.
Turn the crown COUNTER clockwise until the desired date is displayed. Avoid setting the date between 8 PM and 4 AM, as this can damage the movement.
4. Wearing Your Watch:
For optimal performance, wear your NH35 automatic watch regularly. The movement is designed to self-wind with natural wrist movement, keeping it powered.
5. Maintenance:
Keep your watch away from strong magnetic fields to prevent any potential issues with accuracy.
Regular cleaning and occasional servicing every few years by a professional can help maintain its functionality and appearance.
6. Storage:
If not in use for an extended period, store your watch in a cool, dry place, and consider using a watch winder if you own multiple automatic watches.
